5 Kids. 1 Mom. No Manual. Just Real Talk.

Hi, I’m Terry. I’ve got four boys, one baby girl, and no idea how I’m still standing most days. If you’ve ever found yourself crying in the kitchen, or reheating your coffee for the third time, you’re in the right place. This blog is for moms like us — the ones who love their kids but also wonder if it’s normal to feel totally overwhelmed. Not an expert advice — this is mom-to-mom, from someone who’s deep in it with you.

Tantrums & Loud Days

There’s always one kid crying. Sometimes more. I’ve dealt with yelling, floor kicking, and “you’re not my best friend anymore!” moments — and that’s just before 10 a.m. This is how I try to handle it without totally losing my mind.

Feeding Chaos

Some want toast. Some want nothing. Some want what the other one has. I’ve done it all — bribes, begging, frozen pizza. Here’s how I survive the never-ending kitchen madness.

Mama Guilt

I love my kids with everything I’ve got… but I still mess up. I yell. I feel bad. Then I do it again. If you’ve ever laid in bed feeling guilty about how the day went, I talk about that too.

Tiny Wins

No one threw a shoe. Someone actually napped. I found a clean pair of pants. These are the small things that count as huge in mom life. I share these too — because we need to celebrate the little stuff.

Why I Made This Blog

Between Diaper Changes and Tantrums

110

I’ve always loved being a mom, but I didn’t always like it. There were days I felt like I was the only one not enjoying motherhood the way everyone online made it look. I followed the rules, read the blogs, tried to be patient… and still ended up crying next to the high chair.

So I started writing.

Not because I’m perfect. But because I wanted to feel less alone..

If you’ve ever thought, “I love my kids, but this is hard,” I’m right there with you. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to keep showing up.

Why This Blog Feels Like a Breath of Fresh Air (Even When Life’s a Mess)

To be honest. Most mom blogs are either way too perfect or way too preachy. That’s not what I’m doing here. I write like I talk — messy, honest, and maybe a little funny (when I’m not too tired). Moms come here because they’re tired of the pressure. They just want to know they’re not the only ones struggling. And they want help that doesn’t feel like homework. That’s what I try to give.
